Red Square in Moscow has increasingly become a high-security area due to the political situation in Russia. Roadblocks, police and camera surveillance, military guards – all of these elements create a filter-like boundary around the square. Every successful unnoticed penetration is therefore a potential demonstration. Five people are specially equipped with a cape of transformer material for this happening. This material, which transforms invisible short-wave into visible long-wave light, makes the capes glow. The garments have been conceived to satisfy the demonstrators’ requirements: it can be converted into a jacket, a raincoat or a tent. The happening lasted for four minutes – it was then broken up by the police and FSB personnel.

Der Rote Platz in Moskau ist durch die politische Lage in Russland immer mehr zur Hochsicherheitszone geworden. Straßensperren, Polizeibewachung, Kameraüberwachung, Militärposten - dies alles bildet eine filterartige Abgrenzung um den Platz. Jede erfolgreiche unerkannte Durchbrechung, ist folglich eine potentielle Demonstration. Fünf Personen wurden für diese Aktion speziell mit einem Mantel aus einem Transformatormaterial ausgestattet. Dieses Material, das unsichtbare kurze in sichtbare lange Lichtwellen umwandelt, bringt den Mantel zum Leuchten. Die Kleidung ist dabei so konzipiert, dass sie sich den Bedürfnissen der Demonstranten anpasst: der Mantel kann zu einer Jacke, zu einem Regenmantel oder Zelt umfunktioniert werden. Die Aktion dauerte vier Minuten - danach wurde sie von einer Polizeistreife und FSB-Leuten abgebrochen.
